Gwynedd Mercy University holds collaborative partnerships with the following institutions to offer distinctive pathways to our degree programs.

Gwynedd Mercy University has partnered with Bryn Mawr College, offering a pathway for GMercyU Psychology majors to enroll in the Master of Social Service (MSS) program at Bryn Mawr. Students selected for the program will be eligible to receive a 40% tuition scholarship and students with a GPA of 3.3 or higher will be eligible to have three courses waived.

BCCC students can enroll in a GMercyU Bachelor's degree program with third year (junior) status as long as they graduate from BCCC with an appropriate Associate degree and a minimum GPA and 2.0 (higher for some majors). BCCC graduates should be able to complete a bachelor's degree in four regular semesters once enrolling at GMercyU.

Bucks County Intermediate Unit members are eligible for a 10% tuition discount on selected GMercyU degree programs.

GMercyU will provide and oversee Continuing Education Units (CEUs) related to social work for members of the Bucks-Mont Collaborative, a non-profit organization dedicated to health and human service issues.

As a program accredited by the Council for Social Work Education, GMercyU's Bachelor of Social Work program is a pre-approved CEU provider.

Gwynedd Mercy University is a member of the Council of Independent Colleges Online Course Sharing Consortium which provides students enrolled in participating institutions additional convenient course options from mission-aligned schools.

GMercyU's Dual Enrollment Program offers high school students an opportunity to get a head start on college by completing college courses and earning college credits while still in high school.
This program is a perfect way for students to explore new subjects, save on college tuition, and prepare for their futures. Students who participate can enter college with as many as 15 credits.

Dual Enrollment Scholarship: Students who participate in GMercyU’s Dual Enrollment program while in high school and then enroll as a full-time bachelor’s degree-seeking student at GMercyU will receive a full-tuition scholarship for the final semester of their senior year.

Immaculata students can take advantage of two pathways to GMercyU’s Doctorate of Nursing Practice (DNP) and Master of Science in Occupational Therapy (MSOT) programs.

A partner of GMercyU's Criminal Justice Program, this program brings incarcerated and non-incarcerated students together as peers for regular meetings at the Federal Detention Center of Philadelphia. During the meetings, GMercyU “outside” students and “inside” students exchange thoughts and perspectives about social inequalities, prison reform, and restorative justice.

Dual Admissions Agreement

Montgomery County Community College Tourism and Hospitality Management Articulation Agreement
Montgomery County Community College students who earn an A.A.S. degree in Hospitality Management will be granted priority admission into GMercyU's B.S. in Management degree program with Junior status.

Municipal Police Academy Agreement

Montgomery County Community College, which operates the Municipal Police Academy at the Blue Bell Campus, will enroll GMercyU Criminal Justice majors with junior status and a minimum curriculum grade point average of 2.5 who complete an application to Montgomery County Community College and meet all other requirements. The Academy will provide 919 hours of instruction to enrolled GMercyU students as part of its regular program. GMercyU student cadets who maintain a minimum grade of 75 in each program test area will be recommended for certification under the provision of Pennsylvania Act 120.

Through a partnership with the University of Limerick in Ireland, GMercyU students can earn college credit for summer courses completed during a 3-4 week stay at the University of Limerick. Options include courses in Business, Education and Health Science, and the Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences. Students will live on the University of Limerick campus while completing their summer coursework.

GMercyU students need to have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.5 to be considered for the program. Nursing students will have had to complete all Junior nursing courses by the end of the spring term in order to participate in this study abroad program.

Gwynedd Mercy University has a limited amount of funding available to help students defray the cost of traveling to Ireland for this special program. For more information, please contact your academic advisor.
