About GMercyU

Gwynedd Mercy University is one of 17 colleges and universities in the United States founded by the Sisters of Mercy. We welcome students of all beliefs and backgrounds to our 145-acre campus near Philadelphia, one of the largest (and best!) cities on the east coast.
Here, you can choose from more than 40 academic programs rooted in liberal arts and service. Both traditional college-aged and adult students will find a warm and inclusive environment, and a deep commitment to making a difference.
A Few Things to Know About Us
College is an investment, and we offer support for your investment — 100% of first-time, full-time students received some form of financial aid in 2022-2023, including generous scholarships.
You’ll get a strong return on that investment — 96% of 2022 GMercyU grads were employed or in graduate school within 6 months, according to survey respondents. And, GMercyU ranks in the top 6% nationally for 10-year earnings, according to Georgetown University’s Center on Education and the Workforce.
Hands-on learning plays an integral role in the GMercyU experience — 100% of first-time, full-time students participate in some form of real-world experience, whether internships, clinicals, student teaching, research, or other opportunities.

GMercyU is a mission-centered, unique, and transformative institution that I am proud to call my alma mater. GMercyU practices what they preach in terms of their mission, academics, and campus culture.
