Professional Licensure Requirements by State

The Gwynedd Mercy University programs listed below were designed to meet the licensure requirements of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. If you reside in a different state, please choose your program below to determine if our program meets your state’s licensure requirements prior to enrolling.  

*GMercyU Counseling programs are accredited by the national Council for Accreditation of Counseling and Related Educational Programs (CACREP) through 2032. 

If your state includes a "not determined" status, please carefully review your state's licensure requirements prior to enrolling. Additionally, U.S. citizenship or permanent residency is a requirement for licensure within certain academic programs. Students who are under DACA status or are undocumented should carefully review the licensure requirements for their state before enrolling in a degree program that leads to licensure.
