The resources below for non-GMercyU scholarships can help cover the cost of your education. Some private scholarships are based on majors, religion, ethnic background, and scholastic standing or financial need. Students who receive a private scholarship must provide a copy of the award letter to the Office of Financial Aid.

American Association of University Women Scholarship
$1,500 to $2,500 scholarships
The AAUW, Harrisburg branch, announces six college scholarships available to women from Dauphin, Cumberland, and Perry County who are pursuing degrees at an accredited college or university in Pennsylvania in the 2023-2024 academic year.

$350 scholarship

PNC Student Lending Scholarship Sweepstakes

$2,000 scholarships
To be eligible, a student must meet the following requirements on the date of each sweepstakes drawing (November 30, spring semester; May 31, fall semester):

  • Legal resident of the United States who is 18 years of age or older by the end of the standard academic year, defined as running from June of the current year through May of the following year.
  • Verified to be an undergraduate and graduate college student enrolled at a PNC Solution LoanTM-eligible college or university during the term the scholarship is awarded. A list of eligible schools can be found here.
  • Be able to provide documentation of eligibility if name is drawn.
